The Residency Experience
Direct Access: Learn Film Industry standard 3D animation, visual effects and motion graphics skills required by Disney, Pixar and all professional film studios. Your student will be mentored directly by the software architect and creator of the Univah Film Engine.
Professional Environment: Hosted at The Ion (Midtown Houston). Students work alongside startups and tech leaders, fostering a “pro-studio” mindset.
PBR Mastery: We don’t just “render 3D models.” We master Physics-Based Rendering (PBR), cinematic lighting, and real-time storytelling.
The Handbook: Every resident follows our proprietary curriculum, moving from 3D basics to advanced film production at their own pace.
If a 5-year-old can master the UI in 15 minutes, imagine what your teen can create in a month.
How It Works (The “Chill” Factor)
We know these students just spent 7 hours in a classroom. We don’t do “more school.”
Flex-Schedule: Our doors are open at The Ion from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM Monday – Friday. Drop in when you can; leave when you need to.
BYOD (Bring Your Own Device): Students work on their own machines, ensuring they have the power to create anywhere, anytime.
Real-Time Production: No homework. No tests. Every day is about making something that looks incredible to share with family, friends on social media or build a professional 3D portfolio to use for job searching.

*IMPORTANT NOTE* Due to the business nature of The Ion District, many high profile corporate events are scheduled there which may block out the entire day making it impossible for Us to teach on those days.
